Dr. Perquida Payne






Dr. Payne is a thought leader on the topic of trauma-informed and responsive care, as well as many intersecting areas, including sexual and reproductive health, equity and inclusion, and intentional and meaningful organizational change.
Charline Ogbeni
Since earning her IBCLC credential, Charline has launched several pioneering initiatives, including founding the 1st Annual Breastfeeding Awareness Day in New York State and "Breastfeeding @ The Ballgame" at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets.
In 2013, Dr. Pierre-Louis founded Embrace Therapy, a private practice dedicated to maternal mental health and the treatment of various psychological conditions. Dr. Pierre-Louis has presented on topics including postpartum depression and anxiety, motherhood, sexual health and spirituality, breastfeeding and mental health, teen dating violence, communication skills, and the secondary trauma experienced by healthcare providers.

Frequently asked questions
How do I register for CEUs?
When purchasing your ticket, you will be required to identify the program(s) for which you're seeking CEU hours. At the conference, post-assessments will be provided along with certification.
Will there be a virtual option?
No. For our inaugural conference, we are focusing on creating a robust in-person experience and look forward to seeing you there.
Are there group discounts?
Yes. There are group discounts for parties of five and ten. Please contact us for discount codes via email or the contact form below.
How do I share any necessary accommodations?

Who can attend the HVPMHC?
The HVPMHC was created with social service, public health, and perinatal professionals in mind. However, we invite all perinatal supporters to attend.
How will the proceeds of the HVPMHC be used?
Proceeds from the HVPMHC will be used to cover the cost of hosting the event, including incentives and honoraria. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to the Black Maternal Health Coalition.
